Umigari does not require user accounts and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information. We keep only minimal server logs—IP address, browser type, referring URL, and timestamp—to protect the site from abuse and troubleshoot technical issues. Logs are automatically deleted within 30 days unless the law requires a longer retention period.

Cookies and Analytics

We use first-party cookies to remember language, theme preference, and the last category you viewed so the site functions correctly. We currently do not run third-party analytics. Because many pages embed content from Steam, itch.io, YouTube, and similar services, those platforms may set their own cookies or local storage in accordance with their privacy policies.
